driving test ever taken on British roads was on 1st June, 1935,

passport or an identity card. No other form of photo ID is accepted.
If You Lose Your Provisional License
If you lose your
provisional license, you must apply for a replacement with the DVSA. This
process could take up to 15 days. If this happens you might need to find a

Arrive On Time
Each examiner conducts up
to seven tests a day. This means being late could mean that test cannot be
carried out and you will surely lose your fee.
On The Time of Your Test
When it comes to
the test, the examiner will call you to sign an insurance declaration. This

licence. The examiner will also ask you for a photo ID. Remember to present your
exemption certificate if you are exempt from wearing the seatbelt due to
medical reasons. You could also be asked for any physical disability that is
not declared on your application form.
The Examiner Will Check Your Car
The examiner
will take the details of the make and model of your vehicle and also check if
the vehicle is roadworthy. Make sure that the windscreen is clean and the car
is in the perfect running condition before you head down.
During the whole
test, the examiner will be building up an image of your common sense as a
driver. He will also notice how well you deal with other drivers on the road.
